Mary Scholl, a deep believer in learning, empathy, creativity and curiosity, is a senior fellow of the Institute for Collaborative Learning at Centro Espiral Mana in El INVU de Peñas Blancas in San Ramon. She has been teaching language (English and Spanish) for 30 years and has been designing and implementing educational projects in Latin America for over 18 years. Mary has worked extensively online for the past 10 years. Most recently, Mary led a virtual course for 360 teachers in the Dominican Republic and webinars for 2000 MEP Teachers. Mary holds an MA in Teaching English and Spanish from SIT Graduate Institute and is pursuing a doctorate in Adult Learning and Leadership at Columbia University. She has lived and/or taught on four continents and gratefully calls Costa Rica home.
