During the first semester of the year, we want you to be part of this amazing educational experience we want to develop through a selection of courses of great value for Culture, Arts and History fans.

These are 6-week courses of one session per week. 

Writing Workshop by Aurelia Valentina Dobles

Live the experience of creating life through your narrative skills, while being guided in a series of writing exercises by this multitasking Costa Rican writer and artist, Aurelia Dobles.

Discover and free yourself in the first of six modules. Every Wednesday, starting February 18th to March 25th, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM., San Pedro site.

History of Art: “From North to South: The Influence of Mexican Muralism in the United States” by Flor Gallardo.

One of Costa Rica’s most influential historian and Art curator will immerse us into the legacy of mexican muralists and their influence in USA Art: Rockefeller Center mural, and the influence of Siqueiros on New York Art School.

Every Friday starting February 20th to March 27th, from 9 AM to 11 AM, at Centro Cultural’s San Pedro site.

History class: “Art and Fashion” by Ángela Hurtado Pimentel

Art styles and fashion trends intertwine to change the course of history through the ages. The Impressionism, the Surrealism, Sergei Diaghilev’s ballets, Art Nouveau and the Vienna’s Workshops among other examples of this symbiosis.

This course will take place every Tuesday from April 7th to May 12th from 9 AM to 11 AM en el Centro Cultural, San Pedro site.

Visual Arts Workshop: Telling Stories through images: “A Close Up to illustrated Album” by Carolina Parra

Get ready to create and design!

Carolina Parra, a graphic designer and specialist in communication techniques challenges us to rewrite a well-known and all.time loved story through images.

This workshop gathers technical diversity and among everything else, desing practices to all audiences with the mere goal of exploring and reaching new creative frontiers to generate a visual narrative beyond words.

This course will take place every Friday from April 10th to May 15th, from 9 AM to 11 AM. at Centro Cultural, San Pedro site.
